been away

you might have noticed that I've been away for the last couple of days. We were visiting Warwick and the castle for a uni reunion of my husband's old housemates.

not many people I know of have this kind of reunion - 36 people including spice and children with what felt like a genuine bond with each other.

the days were full of laughter and warmth, great.

some of you might have heard of 'the knights of Southampton' as they were affectionately, if eye-rollingly, known. Not simply friends because of the unity of uni, but bonded by Christ - still jousting 18 years later.

There is something sweet and good about that.
