wycliffe hall

a resignation letter has been sent to CEN (Church of England Newspaper) from a member of the Wycliffe Hall Council. it will be reported in the CEN newspaper on Friday. the letter gives clear reasons for the resignation of the (ex)Council member, Clare McInnes, which include:

1. bullying from other Hall Council members.
2. failure of the Hall Council to follow due process in the following:
- allegations of bullying
- the termination of staff
- the recruiting of staff
- the listening process
- records of Council discussions
- Council membership.

Clare McInnes says that her decision to put her resignation letter in the public domain was taken in the belief that this was for the benefit of the Hall and the wider Church.

the religiousintelligence website has the initial report here.
