apparently Steve Chalke is the new Servetus or some such and has so obviously fallen off the edge of true Christian faith that Word Alive, run by UCCF and Keswick Convention, and Spring Harvest have had a falling out. (something about his funny ideas on atonement....sigh)
I really don't want to go on about this so Dave has some good links for those who wish to torment themselves.
also, for what it's worth, Steve wrote this quite a while ago in order to justify his position - people who get hate mail tend to have to do that kind of thing (...again...sigh)
